Job Description

The Director of Operations is a high-level director role responsible for providing oversight and consultative support to Regional Managers/Unit Directors across the organization. Will be responsible for leading, coaching and supporting staff in all operational areas focusing on fulfilling organizational wide strategic plans and goals. Will provide an emphasis on/guidance toward the importance of streamlining processes/procedures which will include: coaching, staffing, budgeting, performance management and Organizational policy adherence. The Director of Club Operations works closely alongside the Senior Staff as a member of the team. JOB

RESPONSIBILITIES ? Ensures consistency with all defined operational parameters and metrics across all Club locations ? Closely monitors and provides support with the Club’s monthly budgets to ensure they are being managed appropriately ? Attracts and retains top talent and ensures that all steps are being taken to build and maintain BGCMP’s values and culture across the Organization ? Collaborates with Regional Managers/Unit Directors on proficiency in program quality and safety ? Ensures that Clubs are implementing Organizational development and training programs consistently across all Club locations ? Engages with all Club staff regularly through site visits and events to promote staff engagement ? Provides real time feedback and coaching around all areas of operations to include: performance management, safety, programs and adherence to Organizational policies and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE and CERTIFICATION ? Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university ? A minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership capacity with proven success in management and operations ? Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY and SKILLS ? Must possess an entrepreneurial work style and have the ability to step “outside the walls” to drive innovative thinking ? Ability to openly discuss and address complicated issues and areas of concerns with staff ? Ability to consistently coach through difficult scenarios, holding staff accountable for their behaviors and actions ? Ability to establish strong working relationships and lead change management ? Ability to interact effectively and communicate in writing and orally with a variety of youth, staff, volunteers, families, Board members and various community members ? Working knowledge of federal and state laws and company policies and procedures ? Ability to support the physical property and assets of the Club ? Ability to articulate for giving, serve as an ambassador, engage in relationship building and promote philanthropy ? Ability to support the efficiency of Volunteers and future workforce needs to support volunteer program operations
